ARIX Technologies

Summary

How CreativCurrent took ARIX from UX audit to product launch across every major touchpoint, helping them bring their market breakthrough to the industry's most relevant conference.

One creative lead. 20+ projects. Nine weeks. One unified launch.

The Problem

ARIX Technologies builds something the oil and gas, petrochemical, and power industries have never had: pipe-climbing robots that inspect for corrosion under insulation (CUI), protecting workers from scaffolding, confined spaces, and hazardous conditions. The customer roster reads like the whole industry at once, with Chevron, ExxonMobil, Shell, and Saudi Aramco among the operators who have tested the technology.

The engineering was years ahead. The brand telling that story was not.

That was the situation Alex Maxwell walked into when she took over marketing at ARIX: a category-defining product, the VENUS RTR+PEC launch on the calendar, and the industry's premier event coming fast. The kickoff call was on May 18. The API Inspection and Mechanical Integrity Summit opened July 20. Everything in between, the brand and the launch built on it, had to ship inside those nine weeks.

When I came in, I knew the product was strong, but the brand wasn't telling that story yet. We had the VENUS RTR+PEC launch scheduled at the API Summit, and honestly not a lot of runway. I needed someone who could understand the technology quickly and work across all of it without me having to explain the same thing five different times.

What We Did

It started with an audit, not a logo.

CreativCurrent embeds a single senior creative director on each account. On ARIX that was Vic Beazzo, working directly with Alex for the length of the engagement. The relationship began with a UX audit of the ARIX website homepage that showed where the experience was working against the technology it was meant to sell. That audit turned into a full homepage redesign, then an updated sales deck, and from there it kept going: more than 20 projects by the time the launch shipped, covering nearly every customer-facing touchpoint the company had. The redesigned site went live on July 14, less than a week before the first day of the conference.

The brand foundation

Underneath the launch sat the system that made everything else hold together: a refined visual language, applied consistently, so every asset that followed spoke with one voice. The updated logo and tagline lockup, the brand book, the business card system, the presentation deck template, and the LinkedIn company banner all came out of the same foundation.

One brand, moving in one direction

The launch was not a single deliverable. It was a coordinated push across every place a buyer might encounter ARIX before, during, and after the event. When the same creative lead works across the website, the booth, the deck, the ads, and the video, the pieces stop drifting apart: a decision made for the booth doesn't get quietly contradicted by the deck three weeks later, because it's the same person holding all of it.

The launch campaign

A three-part launch social set, the API Summit launch event invitation, the designed launch press release, and digital and print trade advertising in Inspectioneering, all built on the same system.

The trade show floor

ARIX explored two design directions before landing on the final: a full 10 x 20 environment for the show floor, with a backlit front panel, two screen walls, a pair of wings, and a reception counter, six graphics in all. A looping motion piece ran on the booth screens throughout the show.

Sales enablement

The team walked the floor with a refreshed sales presentation and a two-sided RTR sales sheet, both built on the same system as the booth and the site, so the conversation at the counter and the follow-up in the inbox looked and sounded like the same company.

The part that doesn't show in the work

The deliverables are the visible half. The other half is a partner who understood the brand, the product, and the industry, so every new request built on what was already in place.

That foundation extended to a website designed and built from scratch in HubSpot, with client-editable content modules. AI and LLM discoverability work included structured data and guidance for search and AI crawlers, supporting how the company is found and understood.

The continuity connected the website, campaign, sales tools, and booth, with a site the ARIX team could keep developing after launch.

The Result

The Result

The moment it all had to work. The launch pointed at one date: the 2026 API Inspection and Mechanical Integrity Summit in San Antonio. Everything built over the nine weeks showed up together: the booth, the website, the launch materials, and the sales tools working as one brand at the exact moment the industry was watching. For the first time, the story surrounding the VENUS launch felt as advanced as the product itself.

What comes next. The launch was not the finish line. The engagement has continued beyond the conference into a product-feature video, HubSpot support, website refinement, and the next wave of campaign and sales assets, carried forward by the same continuity that made the launch possible.
